What Is the Cycle to Work Scheme?
The Cycle to Work Scheme is a government-backed initiative that allows employees to obtain a new bike and cycling gear in the most cost-effective way. By paying through your gross salary (before tax and National Insurance), you can save up to 47% on the total cost.
How to Apply?
Applying for the Cycle to Work Scheme is simple. Just follow these four steps:
1. Get Your Employer Code
If your employer has a live Cycle to Work scheme, they’ll provide you with:
An employer code to sign up directly through Cycle2Work,or A link to apply via your company’s benefits portal.

2. Choose Your Bike & Accessories
Browse Electric Phoenix and choose your preferred bike and gear — including sale or promotional items.
Note the total value you’ll need to apply for.
3. Sign Up
Visit the Cycle2Work portal or your employer’s benefits platform.
Enter your employer code and requested amount to submit your application.
4. Get Approved
Once your application is approved, you’ll receive a Letter of Collection.
Bring this to us, and we’ll arrange the delivery or collection of your bike and accessories.
How to Buy?
Once your Cycle to Work application is approved, here’s what happens next:
5. Use Your Letter of Collection
After receiving your Letter of Collection, simply contact us at Electric Phoenix.
We'll arrange fast and secure delivery of your chosen bike and accessories directly to your door — no store visit needed!
6. Pay Monthly
Your total will be deducted automatically from your salary over 12 or 18 months, depending on your employer’s scheme.

7. End of Scheme & Ownership
At the end of your agreement, you’ll be offered several options:
Most customers opt for a zero-cost extended hire, allowing continued use of the bike.
Once HMRC considers the bike's value negligible, you’ll automatically become the legal owner.
